Pete Kirby

Pete has done all of the work on BSA engine and I can honestly say that everything he’s done has been first class and he’s delivered exactly what I wanted.

I first went to Pete to have the engine checked over and rebuilt ready to go into the new frame but I also mentioned that it was very sharp off the bottom and I would like the power delivery smoothed out but not at the expense of the mid and top range power delivery.

It came back transformed with just what I had asked for; a smooth, soft engine at the bottom end with a strong mid and top range delivery.

I have had the engine rebuilt twice (due to water and rags!) but it hasn’t missed a beat since Pete got involved.

I have since also added a diaphragm belt drive clutch that Pete had developed and supplies Рagain an excellent product that provides a light, consistent clutch that is progressive and not snatchy like some I have seen.

    Hi Pete,
Me and a friend are about to refurbish a BSA Super Rocket and have been given your name to be somebody reliable to rebuild the engine. We live in Tamworth and would like if possible to come down and have a chat. Any time would do as we are a pair of old farts that are now retired and are now into our third bike. :-Tele 07582038421
